Student Leadership
Developing highly confident and capable young leaders of the future.
Mornington Secondary College provides opportunities for student voice and agency through a variety of leadership positions.
Student Leadership plays an important role, giving students the opportunity to make a positive contribution to many aspects of the College.
College and Year-Level Captains
Student Leadership provides students with a greater connection to the College while developing skills in public speaking, chairing meetings, taking minutes, organising events and fundraising programs. College Captains and Year-Level Captains assist with special year level programs and events within the wider community. Our Leaders are encouraged to connect, explore and share ideas with teachers and students to enhance all aspects of student education and student life.
All Captains Council
The All Captains Council is a student-led initiative, chaired by our College Captains. Members are comprised of student leaders from across the College, including Arts, House, Sports and Year-Level Captains. Captains work on whole school initiatives such as the annual charity fundraiser and market days, as well as year-level specific events.
