Students are studying Utopia and Dystopia through the novel Hive by A.J. Betts. We are enjoying listening to their ideas and watching them craft their writing responses. Well done everyone.

Students are also exploring the following questions:

1. What are the utopian elements of the society and what are the dystopian elements?
2. What is the purpose of the civilisation?
3. Why do only some people know the truth about what else was out there?
4. Do most people go through life without asking much about how or why?
5. Do people miss the gaps between the puzzle pieces?
6. Is it even possible currently to understand fully how the world works?
