Biggest Morning Tea 2025

On Tuesday 3rd June Year 11 VM students organised ‘The Biggest Morning Tea’ as part of one of their assessment tasks. Not only is organising the event a great learning experience for our Year 11 VM students, but Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is also a very worthy cause which raises vital funds for the Cancer Council, helping to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer.

In preparation for the event students promoted the morning tea to MSC staff by displaying posters around the school and pre-selling entry tickets. On the day students were hands on with room decorating and set up, BBQ cooking, raffle ticket sales, Guess the Lollies competitions, speeches, and even the washing up!

We’d like to acknowledge and thank the following businesses who generously donated items for our fundraising event, helping to make it a successful morning:

• Lindens Butcher (Bentons Square)
• The Butchers Club (Mornington Central)
• Bakers Delight
• Coles
• Woolworths
• Penni Ave Distillery
• Baked In
• Bunnings
• Commonfolk
• EKO Hair & Beauty
• Mornington Seafoods
