2026 VET Onboarding Day

Mornington Secondary College was proud to welcome students to our VET Orientation and Onboarding Day — a key step in launching their vocational learning journey.

On the 26th November, students beginning VET studies in Retail Cosmetics, Sport and Recreation, Visual Arts, Building and Construction, Electrotechnology and Small Business were onsite to meet their teachers, complete LLN assessments (Literacy, Language and Numeracy), and finalise onboarding requirements as they prepare to embark on their 2026 programs.

We were delighted to host 110 students, with around half attending from schools across the Peninsula whose preferred VET programs are not available at their own colleges. Their choice to study at MSC reflects our reputation for delivering high-quality VET pathways and specialist training opportunities.

This day is yet another example of MSC’s position as a regional leader in Applied Learning, proudly demonstrated through our recent recognition at the 2025 PAL Awards, where we received the School Best Practice Award.

At MSC, we continue to champion real-world learning, strong industry connections and exceptional student outcomes — and today’s successful launch of VET Orientation is a testament to that commitment.
